Dayna Tierney, MS, ATC
Athletic Trainer

Athletic Trainer / Admin Support
Dayna Tierney was born and raised right here in Phoenix Arizona. She received her undergraduate degree in Athletic Training from Lee University in Cleveland Tennessee ( Go flames and Go Big Orange!). After realizing her hair was not made for the humidity, she moved back home to do her masters degree in Athletic Training at AT Still Univeristy.
For the past six years Dayna has been the head athletic trainer and a teacher at Phoenix Christian Preparatory. This coming fall she will be a sports medicine teacher and athletic trainer at Queen Creek High School. Her clinical interests include, building programs to provide sports medicine care to underserved and low income schools and communities, teaching other athletic trainers about the insurnace process and how to get the best care for your athlete no matter their situation.
Dayna comes from a large family with 9 nieces and nephews. When she’s not working enjoys eating all the amazing Mexican food Arizona has to offer, hanging out with Casey and Bekah, and spending as much time as humanly possible outdoors. She is passionate about everything local, and enjoys finding new local restarant and shops to explore.
